The heating device will continue to heat and repeat the cycle until the required temperature, and the heating device will stop working. If the temperature detector detects that the temperature of the heat transfer conductor is lower than the set temperature, the heating device will be started again. If the temperature is higher than the set temperature, the mold thermometer can also cool the heat transfer conductor through the cooling system of the unit itself, so that the constant temperature is within the set value.

When a mold thermometer uses water as a thermal conductor, the following precautions should be considered: pre-treat the temperature control circuit with a corrosion inhibitor; use a filter before the water inlet; regularly clean the mold thermometer and mold with a rust remover. The heat transfer oil has no water shortcomings, the oil has a high boiling point, and the temperature is higher than 300 ° C. In a higher case, the heat transfer coefficient of the heat transfer oil is only 1/3 of that of water. When using heat transfer oil, operators must observe these safety regulations: do not place mold thermometers near the heat source (furnace); use conical leak-proof, temperature-resistant, pressure-resistant hoses or hard pipes for joints; regularly check the temperature control circuit (Mold thermometers, joints, molds) for leakage and normal function; regular replacement of heat transfer oil; synthetic oil should be selected, which has good thermal stability and a small tendency to coke. In the use of mold thermometers, the selection of the appropriate heat transfer fluid is crucial. Using water as the heat transfer fluid is economical, clean and easy to use. In the event of a leak in a temperature control circuit such as a hose connector, the escaping water can drain directly to the sewer. However, using water as a heat transfer fluid also has some disadvantages: water has a low boiling point; depending on the composition of the water, it may corrode and scale, resulting in increased pressure loss and reduced heat exchange efficiency between the mold and the fluid. Therefore, the use of mold thermometers in various industries uses corresponding mold thermometers.
